Long live the email newsletter [YO/01]

RIP social media (for now at least)

Hi all,

Due to circumstances beyond my control (I was born this dumb) our facebook + IG are (at least temporarily) disabled due to someone hacking into the FB account and then filling it with ads, etc.

I’m working on getting it back, but in the meantime, we are here! and i do think email may sneakily be one of the best ways to communicate like this - in theory, it isn’t beholden to an algorithm, if you get an email you’ll get that email (assuming you still use email. do you?).

<Let me know in a reply if you actually value these newsletters, or if FB/IG is still the only way to go.>

In actual band news, exciting things are in the works. i broke through a yearslong writing wall a couple months ago and wrote about 18 songs on the 4th of july (not “about the 4th of July” , i wrote them on that date. i cannot confirm or deny the patriotic content of these songs)

And so the band is kicking into gear again, including a Minneapolis show TOMORROW NIGHT (Thurs Oct 4) at Mortimer’s. more shows are in the works as well.
