the 4th annual YO Winter Shindig is here!

February 1st in Minneapolis, one night only

it’s here! the fourth annual WINTER SHINDIG is here. it really is. it is. here. here is. here it is. here is it.

we’re doing the shindig slightly differently this year — it’s going to be a ONE NIGHT ONLY affair at Pilllar Forum (a sweet new all-ages venue in northeast Minneapolis), on Saturday February 1st — and it’s a slightly early show - doors at 6:30pm, the whole thing done by 10pm. we love to see it! AND this is a small room, please buy tickets in advance because i’m really hoping to sell it out ahead of time!!

Since we’re in the midst of working on a bunch of new stuff / a new album, i wanted to preserve some time and energy for that, so rather than a full month of shows we’re just doing one.

but as you can probably guess, that means this one show is going to be STACKED. that starts with the other bands on the bill, who are two of my absolute favorite bands in the Twin Cities — Fend, who put an album out this year (Disc) that i really can’t stop playing - esp the opening song 1:59 AM, check it out. and Kiernan — i mean jesus christ they are literally being anointed one of the twin cities’ BEST NEW BANDS the night before our show, and they put out an EP this year (Magnetic North) that i’m fully in love with. i’m one lucky little guy.

and of course the YO show will be full of special guests, covers, brand new premieres, etc etc. the band is firing on all cylinders. let’s go.
